Expert visit to the LAMA FVG Mechatronic Laboratory in Udine

Employees of the Center for Micro- and Nanoscience and Technology, Professor Saša Zelenika, Ph.D., Assistant Professor Ervin Kamenar, Ph.D., Assistants Marko Perčić, Petar Gljušćić and Tea Arrigoni, visited LAMA FVG Laboratory at the University of Udine (Italy) on November 15, 2018. Laboratory covering a wide spectrum of mechatronics has emerged as part of the Collaboration between the University of Udine, the University of Trieste and the Doctoral School – the High School of Advanced Studies (Scuola Internazionale Superiore di Studi Avanzati – SISSA). One of the main activities of the LAMA FVG Mehatronics Laboratory is 3D printing of metal structures using aluminium alloys, titanium alloys, high alloy steels, nickel-based alloys, etc. In this area, possible cooperation was discussed considering that Center for Micro- and Nanoscience and Technology possesses equipment for experimental material analysis.
